Class Description

Curious Jīvas offers a blend of thematic group lessons and independent work time, following core Montessori principles. Each week, we introduce topics in science, geography, history, botany, zoology, and culture through hands-on group lessons that build on each other and connect directly to the materials on our shelves. This allows children to revisit and deepen their understanding as they explore further on their own.
During self-directed learning time, children choose work that interests them and matches their developmental stage. They practice and strengthen academic skills—such as reading, writing, grammar, spelling, creative writing, math, and arithmancy—through real, meaningful engagement with the world around them.
Our classroom is designed to support independence while offering clear structure and guidance. The adult guide observes each child closely, tracks their interests and progress, and provides individual or small-group lessons tailored to their needs. This approach ensures each child is appropriately challenged and supported in their growth.
